My watercolor painting Girl with Refrigerator has been selected by juror Christina Z. Andersonfor for the Northwest Arts Center’s Americas 2020: Paperworks exhibition.

Americas 2020: Paperworks will be on display in the Northwest Arts Center on the campus of Minot State University from January 13 through February 24, 2020. Public reception with the juror will be Thursday, February 13, 6:30 to 8 p.m., with a gallery talk and awards at 7 p.m.

My Oil Painting Stand Still is selected in the 25th Arts North International Juried Art Exhibition at Hopkins Arts Center. In its 25th year, this international juried exhibition showcases work by artists from the United States and abroad. The jurors selected 173 works out of over 900 entries from 42 states, four provinces of Canada, and seven countries.

My recent painting Upstate New York has been selected by Lori Bookstein for the 11th National Juried Exhibition at Prince Street Gallery.

Lori Bookstein is a curator, collector and art dealer in New York City. She was the director of Salander-O’Reilly Galleries for ten years before opening her own gallery, Lori Bookstein Fine Art, in 1997, which celebrated its twentieth anniversary in 2016. She opened Bookstein Projects on the Upper East Side in the fall of last year.

The exhibition will run from Tuesday, January 2 through Saturday, January 26.
The Artists’ Reception will be Saturday, January 19, from 3 - 6pm.

Small Works 2018 at Main Street Gallery, juried by Rick Pirozzolo, executive director and curator at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, NY, is a national juried exhibition of work 12 inches or smaller. This is the fifth annual small works show. 103 artists from 26 states are featured in this exhibition.

Exhibition Dates:
December 1, 2018­ – January 4, 2019

Opening Reception:
Saturday, December 1, 4–7 p.m.

See Cape Cod Museum of ART

HEALING NATURE: Human Vision, Art & the Environment, the national juried show at Cape Cod Museum of Art is on view from March 29 through May 27 with a public reception on April 5.

More than 700 diverse artworks expressing the artist’s relationship to the natural world or their response to issues confronting the environment were submitted for Healing Nature from around the country. Juror Mark Adams, a cartographer/geologist with Cape Cod National Seashore and a painter, selected the work of 56 artists for the show which includes painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
